MONDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2021

January was the longest year of our lives since…December.

What happened last week was something I never thought would happen to me or my daughter. I don’t do well with attention being directed on me, but I did the best I could to accept the new-found popularity after our story aired on NBC.

Our 15 minutes of fame is always borrowed. We don’t own it. Soon, someone else will be in the spotlight and I’ll just be the same dad I was before and continue to do what I do. It’s no different than the drama we faced in junior high and high school - it doesn’t last.
