A Month of Gratitude, Day ??

When I started this gratitude exercise, I thought it was going to be easy. Sharing 30 gratitude posts in 30 days? No sweat! Until I woke up Sunday morning…

I didn’t have anything come to mind that I was grateful for. I thought - maybe - it was a bad mental health day and I should take a day off. Sure, that makes sense. Then, I went to bed Sunday night pondering what I could be thankful for on Monday morning.

Nothing.

I woke up Monday morning, and? Nothing.

Is it possible for us to only be grateful for a few things at a time? I feel broken because I could only come up with six days’ worth of gratitude when I thought I could easily come up with things for 30 days.

It’s an exhausting exercise. It makes me wonder if I’m focusing on what really matters…

What are you thankful for this year?
