Dad Lunch Note #603

MONDAY, JANUARY 25, 2021

Most of us are unable to shower our kids with the most expensive and trendiest material things.

I wish I could spoil my family with everything they ever wanted. I don’t want my family to have to ask for anything, but unfortunately, that’s not possible. And, quite frankly, it may never be possible.

Since I can’t shower them with material things, I can shower them with the things that I wasn’t taught as a kid or the things I wish I would have learned when I was younger. That’s probably why I focus on these daily notes so much. I may not be able to give my daughter the trendiest clothes or the latest iPhone, but I can give her the tools she needs to face life as she grows older.
